Euro plunges under $1.30 for first time since January
- LONDON, Dec 14, 2011 (AFP) - The European single currency dived under $1.30 on Wednesday, hitting the lowest point since the start of the year on mounting concern about the eurozone's sovereign debt crisis.
At 1145 GMT, the euro sank to $1.2995, its lowest level since January 12.
